How it works

  1. Make a video in one of the formats below. Show Centile’s result screen big, in the first 15 seconds, for at least 3 seconds.
  2. Post it on your own account, labelled as an ad or paid partnership. Tag @centileapp.
  3. Seven days later, email developer@centile.app with the link. Add a screenshot of the video’s views and the countries they came from.
  4. We check it against the rules and pay by PayPal within a week.

What gets views

  • The question in the first second, big on screen and said out loud. Most viewers decide in under a second.
  • Your face or hands in the shot from the start. Faceless videos stall.
  • 15 to 30 seconds. One question, one answer, one outcome.
  • Turn on TikTok’s branded content setting, or Instagram’s paid partnership label.

Formats that work

  • Your height journey. “My mum’s 5′4″, my dad’s 5′10″. Here’s what Centile would have said at 14, and here’s how tall I am now.”
  • The reveal. The question on screen in the first second (“How tall will I be?”). Then a teen’s example numbers going into Centile, then the range.
  • For parents: the door frame. “A pencil mark on the door frame can’t tell you how tall your child might be.” Show the example numbers going in, then the range. Then every check kept on your phone. Your children stay off camera.
  • Growth spurt facts. “Signs you’re still growing”, “When do boys stop growing?”, with the source on screen.

The story to tell

The question, then what Centile does, then one outcome. These are the words on our own pages.

For teens

  • The question. “Everyone around you is growing at a different speed, and you’re left wondering where you’ll end up.”
  • What Centile does. “Centile works out your likely range in a minute, then shows you growing, one height check at a time.”
  • One outcome. “See where your height is heading. Centile does the maths with a published growth method, so there are no charts to read.”

For parents

  • The question. “A pencil mark on the door frame can’t tell you how tall your child might be, and it stays behind when you move.”
  • What Centile does. “Centile works it out in a minute and keeps every height check on your phone.”
  • One outcome. “Not pencilled on a door you’ll paint over or leave behind. It’s all on your phone, for more than one child.”

What Centile does

Centile’s first range uses mum’s height, dad’s height, and boy or girl (the Tanner method). Centile Plus adds age, height and weight today (the Khamis–Roche method) for a narrower range. Don’t say the range is free: say the app is free to download. Centile is for 13 to 19 year olds. So use example teen details or your own story from when you were a teen.

What you get from us

  • Centile Plus free, so you can show both ranges: ask when you email.
  • App screenshots and the Centile logo, sent on request.
  • Example teen details to use, in cm or feet and inches.

The rules

A video that breaks one isn’t paid.

  • You’re 18 or over: we only work with adult creators. No children or teens on camera.
  • No claims that anything makes you taller. Centile estimates a range; it can’t change it.
  • Your audience is mostly in the US, UK, Canada or Australia.
  • No bought views, and no reposting other people’s videos.
  • Label it as an ad, and say the app’s name.
  • You let Centile repost your video on its own accounts, with credit to you.
