How Centile works
Three different things, kept separate.
Family context, a model-specific personal estimate and measured progress answer different questions. Centile does not blend them into one confident-looking score.
Choose the personal report
For ages 13 through 17½, the optional Khamis–Roche estimate also uses age, measured height and weight, with its model-specific reference band.
Track measured progress
Keep dated measurements and an optional monthly reminder locally. Estimates and actual measurements are never presented as the same thing.

The product is designed around information you can inspect and controls you can use, rather than a remote profile you cannot see.
Measurements stay separate.
Dated height history, a chart with a text alternative and an optional local reminder keep observed progress distinct from calculated estimates.
Local by design.
Centile has no app account, analytics, advertising, tracking or cloud database. The profile remains on the device, subject to device access and Apple backup settings.
Trust and limitations
No score can manufacture certainty.
The broad family range uses a mid-parental calculation. The personal report uses the published Khamis–Roche method for its supported age range.
The family range and personal reference band answer different questions. Many people fall outside estimates, and individual error can be larger.
Sleep, nutrition and movement completion never changes a height prediction. The product does not claim those activities will increase skeletal height.

Common questions
Straight answers before you start.
Does Centile tell me exactly how tall I will be?
No. It provides educational estimates with visible uncertainty. Genetics, measurement error, health and individual development mean many people fall outside predicted ranges.
What information does the app need?
It uses a month and year of birth, the published female or male calculation reference, current measured height, two biological-parent adult heights and—for the personal estimate—current weight. It does not require a name, account or exact birth date.
Does Centile receive my measurements?
Under the current release design, no. Profile, prediction, measurement and routine information stays in one protected app record on the device. Apple separately operates StoreKit purchases and device backups.
Who is the product for?
It is designed for people aged 13 or older and parents or guardians using it for or with a teenager. It is not medical advice or a substitute for a qualified health professional.
When can I download it?
